The Zurich Film Festival was the perfect platform for Kuoni to gain high visibility in front of an international audience, showing responsibility as a socially-aware and sustainably-operating company.
As sponsor of the Zurich Film Festival, we were supporting film-makers' critical look at today's modern society. Exchanging opinions and ideas with those who help shape the cultural industry also provided us with inspiration, allowing us to look at travel in a different light and develop approaches for the future world of travel.
Kuoni is also ready for self-reflection: our commitment to C02 compensation and climate protection has long been part of our responsibility as a travel company. For the Zurich Film Festival, we came up with the idea of the Green Carpet, which brought a significant increase in awareness about our commitment.
THE GREEN CARPET
Instead of the usual red carpet, Kuoni rolled out the Green Carpet for the stars of the Zurich Film Festival. All the photos of this film festival hotspot now remind people of Kuoni and our commitment for the environment.
SAVE THE BEAUTY
Together with the not-for-profit Swiss organisation myclimate all festival guests were flown to the city C02-neutrally. As a token of their environmentally-friendly journey, Kuoni presented festival stars with a “Save the Beauty” bracelet.
